TCTA (Trans Continental Trade Alliance)

The Trans Continental Trade Alliance is a trade league created by Atlas. Although talks began months ago about the trade league it is just now coming into place. The trade league will we an open trade agreement with all member nations. Who will all have to donate a certain precentage of their military to protect trade lanes and to guarantee the indepedence of all member nations. This safety net will encompass all members and will be work as a defence pact between members. The League will also have a congress and a dispute court for all members which will enact laws and league wide trade deals for all members. The only requirement to join is that you do not restrict trade to certain nations unless it was agreed upon in a dispute court by the court judge. The league will only support member nations if they are the defender although this rule can be suspended for certain situations. Please reply if you want to join the league.

The Altas government has seized the opportunity of reestablished comms by grace of the UFNA to create the trade league. These comms will help for better communications between members and as such the Atlas government will try to bargain for no tariffs on UFNA

-- The Imperial Samoan Federation received a communication link from their neighbors the Council of Atlas 1. Their Embassy there had relayed a request from the Council and the Director to join them in founding and securing a Trade Alliance between nations. The Emperor had no objections to such an agreement and the council offered no dispute. The Council of Atlas 1 have been great neighbors and their economy due to the trade agreement was kicked off and on the rise. Imperial Citizens would be delighted at the announcement of such an alliance. A messages was sent to the Embassy in Atlas 1, approving of their membership to join the ranks of the TCTA. The Emperor even invited the beginning nations to the Empire to sign the charter that would be the constitution of the Trans-Continental Trade Alliance.

On route to Atlas for further negotiations, Foreign Minister Hinn received the announcement about the TCTA. He quickly sent a radio transmission to Aid Wuttsweil, whose ship was leading the way.

"We've learned of your trade alliance, and we are interested. The Prime Minister has authorized me to sign on Reftaria's behalf. We look forward to being more connected with the nations of this region through trade and mutual security. And, of course, I look forward to further talks between our two nations once we arrive in Atlas."

*A crackling in the International Comms once more awakens the radio men in their respective towers, a message from our newly acquainted neighbors of Atlas. Immediately storms of manuscripts and documents surrounding the message on the Internationa Comms. Glorious Comrade Zero Mironov takes time to think yet no time to act, he calls for a conference and plans his speech*

We have received word from our close allies that a trade league, known formally as the TCTA has been sparked in this new world. With the requirement of mutual defense and a contribution of resources, I approve of the idea to join this TCTA. Prepare to allow your industries the approval of another nation's coin!

*His declaration is met with both uncertainty for the future, and undying loyalty from his people. If he has mandated these new policies then they the people should implement them, and so the Dictatorship of Eridani Theta begins their rise out of isolationism. The Dictator sends a handwritten letter containing the signature regarding entrance to the TCTA.

October 3rd, 2020 - Scathelocke, Scathelocke District, Eastern Iuclion - 1119 Hours

Agent Toa bounds up to Henry with a neatly rolled up piece of cream-colored paper.
“Agent Toa.”
The agent comes to a halt next to the tank as it sits parked in its parking spot, its crew chilling out on top.
“I bring good news, Mr. Brigham,” Toa calls, waving the paper in the air. Henry slides down from the tread plate he’d been sitting on and leans over.
“The Atlassians started a multi-continental union, abbreviated “T-C-T-A”. We Samoans are already on-board, as well as other world powers that can potentially help us push the CPA out of Iuclion.”
“And this is…?” Henry gestures, and Toa unravels the paper to reveal a neat little terms of agreement among other excerpts. There is a sizable space at the bottom for names to be signed.
“An entry agreement document. Sign this, and we will ensure it is sent back to Atlas to be instated into effect.”
Henry turns around towards the tank, looking pleased.
“Recker, a pen please?”
Recker’s head pokes out of the driver’s cabin and he tosses a blue pen towards Henry, of which Henry catches with his right hand and turns back to the document. He leans over to sign it, then pauses for a moment, then turns his head back towards the tank.
“Hey, can I see you four out here for a minute?”
Slowly, his four brothers-in-arms clamber out of the tank and walk over.
“Toa, you mind fillin’ these guys in again?”
“Not at all.”

So he does.

“Damn, we’ll be high and mighty with this.”
“Not just us, but everyone who is included thus far in the proposed alliance.”
The five men look at Toa, and then down at the paper, nodding.
“Let’s do it.”

One by one, they each sign the document. Henry is the last to sign it.
“Lovely.”
Toa bows respectfully. “Thank you, gentlemen. I will ensure it is sent back to Atlas, and I will send a transmission to them stating that you have signed the document and thus will be joining the TCTA.”
Henry nods in return. “You have our thanks.”

With a small second bow, Toa turns away and disappears.

The Council was surprised at the amount of applicants but it quickly sent out a mass telegram to all members saying, we are accepting all of you,, but some we trust more than others, some members will have to prove themselves, you will all receive comm lines that will connect every one together

The Suvali security agency picked up on Atlas' message. They were quick to report it the the Suvali president. Upon enlightenment of this message he ordered the agency to immediately send a reply accepting the proposal.

After further consideration (and preliminary conversations), it appears as though the Alliance expects more than Reftaria can promise based on our governance structure. We remain committed to negotiations, peace, and trade with each of your individual nations, however, and we hope that our stability and commitment to security will prove our value to the Alliance in time.

The TCTA has been in full support of the Luclion rebels against the evil CPA. They have done horrors to Luclions people that are unimaginable in the modern world. Yet still, some nations support their cruel dictator and his ways. The nation of Theta is one of them, they have caused the deaths of many rebels and their supporters and the league will not stand for that. A league bill has been passed through congress which will cause a immediate embargo to be placed on the nation of Theta, all Thetan troops will be considered CPA troops and will be actively engaged, and all league members must embargo the nation. These terms will last until the corrupt ruler of Theta stops supporting the CPA
